Mrs. Pennanen joined the SCA faculty in 2024. This is her 15th year in education. She began her teaching career in the Belton school district in fourth grade and most recently taught fourth and fifth grade in the North Kansas City school district.

"After spending the past three years at home with my son, I am looking forward to returning to the classroom to share my faith and love of learning with my students."

Mrs. Pennanen is married to Daniel and they have one son, Teddy, who attends SCA. They are so happy God has led them to SCA!
