Mrs. Borgstadt joined the SCA faculty in 2021. She began her teaching career in the Blue Springs school district as a Mizzou Teaching Fellow. She earned her master's degree during her first year of teaching. Mrs. Borgstadt has experience in teaching 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. She is excited to step into leadership as the Elementary Assistant Principal. In addition to her teaching roles, Mrs. Borgstadt has shown exemplary leadership qualities, serving as a lead teacher and mentor teacher.

Mrs. Borgstadt continues to strive for the best for her students as a school leader. "I have always been passionate about elementary education. God called me into the classroom, where I enjoyed connecting with students and families. He has big plans for SCA, and I am excited to lead our school, following God's will. I hope to continue glorifying Him as I partner with our community in this role."

She is married to Mike and they have three children who attend SCA. In their free time, the Borgstadts enjoy visiting the lake and going to Colorado a couple times a year. They love skiing, hiking, and fishing in the mountains among the incredible beauty that is God’s handiwork.
