Mrs. Anderson joined the SCA faculty in 2023. She is a second generation graduate of Tri-City Christian School (TCCS) and remembers competing with SCA in high school. After graduation from Maranatha Baptist University, she returned to TCCS where she taught speech and theatre. When TCCS closed, she earned her Missouri State Teaching License and pursued her masters degree in English. Mrs. Andersen has taught in three public schools in two states: Cesar Chavez Middle School in Waco, TX; and Pioneer Ridge Middle School and Truman High School in Independence.

"I loved my time in the public sector, but am grateful the Lord has provided an opportunity to return to Christian education."

Her husband Alex is also a TCCS graduate and works as an Air Traffic Controller.
