Called to Lead – Joe Hesman

Mr. Hesman will be the 2024-25 Assistant Head of School. For the past eight years, Mr. Hesman has served at SCA. During this time, enrollment in the secondary school has increased by over 200, and the footprint of the campus expanded to include the Goppert classroom wing, an additional new classroom six-plex, SCA Fieldhouse and Activities center, and once again holding classes at Lee’s Summit Community Church. In this new role, Mr. Hesman will continue to report directly to the Head of School and will be identified as the ministry and campus leader in the absence of the Head of School. The position will include operational leadership in student and campus services.

SCA Morning with Mom

An annual tradition at SCA is to pause and take time to celebrate our Moms and Mother Figures at Morning with Moms! What a fun morning we had on Wednesday, September 20 celebrating our kiddos and Moms AND eating a few too many donuts!! “May the Lord richly bless both you and your children. May you be blessed by the Lord, who made heaven and earth.” Psalm 115:14-15

First Day of School for 2023-24 School Year

We had a wonderful start to the first day of the 2023-24 school year for Summit Christian Academy. It is our 34th first day of school at Summit Christian! We are so thankful for God's Goodness! Our theme for this year is All in 4 Him based on Jeremiah 29:13, "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." We are Blessed to serve God here at Summit Christian and we firmly believe that over 1200 students that are part of the SCA are Just Beginning and will go FAR!
