Varsity Volleyball Highlights 2022
AthleticsWith approximately 100 girls competing in grades 5-12 at SCA, volleyball continues to be one of SCA's leading programs. The program, led by Varsity Head Coach and SCA Alumnus Kara Totzke, is calling the girls to "Step Up" as they focus on the gifts that God has given them. This focus is based on 1 Peter 4:10-11, "God has given each of you a gift from His great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another... Then everything you do will bring glory to God through Jesus Christ. All glory and power to him forever and ever! Amen.”

Varsity Boys Soccer Team Highlights 2022
AthleticsThe Summit Christian Academy Varsity Boys Soccer, led by head coach Brad Creason, currently enjoys a successful 10-3 season as they focus on playing for "we" and not "me." The team's goal this year is to honor God with their play and actions both on and off the field. In the 09/29/22 Missouri Class 1 Power Rankings, the team came in at #2 in the state! See You At the Pole 2022
EventsSummit Christian Academy hosted “See You at the Pole” on September 28, 2022. God’s presence was felt as students, faculty, staff and families joined in prayer around the flag poles at both the SCA Elementary & Secondary buildings. See You at the Pole™, the global day of student prayer, began in 1990 as a grass roots movement with ten students praying at their school. 32-years later, millions pray on their campuses on the fourth Wednesday in September. The theme for 2022 was aFlame. "Never let the fire in your heart go out. Keep it alive ....pray." Romans 12:11-12
See You at the Pole™ is simply a prayer rally where students meet at the school flagpole before school to lift up their friends, families, teachers, school, and nation to God. See You at the Pole™ is a student-initiated, student-organized, and student-led event.

A long-standing tradition at Summit Christian Academy is for the senior class to go beyond the walls of SCA and serve as a group on the senior mission trip! The SCA Class of 2023 served in Memphis, Tennessee. This was the 19th year that SCA has sent the senior class out to serve on a mission trip. Partnering with the Praying Pelican Missions. Students did manual work including painting, landscaping, yard work, moving, building, cleaning, serving food, and organizing and also built relationships with children and families in the Memphis community. The SCA Class of 2023 shared a powerful message of what God did in their lives as they served, and the purpose that they feel has been put on their hearts to serve Him this year! #SCATradition #GraceWinsatSCA #SCAClassof2023 #TheSCADifference #SCAEagles #CatchTheSCASpirit #SCA

First Day of School for 2022-23 School Year
EventsWe had a wonderful start to the first day of the 2022-23 school year for Summit Christian Academy. It is our 33rd first day of school at Summit Christian! We are so thankful for God's Goodness! Exciting things are happening as our Senior Class worked hard yesterday to be on mission here at SCA and reach the students! I hope you felt their excitement & fire for the Lord as they welcomed students! Our theme for this year is Grace Wins based on 1 Corinthians 15:10a, "But by the grace of God I am what I am." We are Blessed to serve God here at Summit Christian and I firmly believe that the nearly 1200 students that are part of the SCA community are the FUTURE!
