Varsity Boys Soccer Team State Bound November 2022
AthleticsThe SCA Boys Soccer TEAM ARE MAKING HISTORY TODAY! It is the first time in school history for the Varsity Boys Soccer Team to win DISTRICTS AND advance to the STATE FINAL 4 in Class 1. Varsity Football Highlights & Homecoming 2022
AthleticsSCA Homecoming Weekend 2022 was an exciting time where alumni, current families, faculty, and friends came together to celebrate the vision of Summit Christian Academy! The secondary student body went a little crazy for spirit week before celebrating athletics and academics at the pep rally on Thursday! Friends and family came together for the football game on Friday night where Student Council announced the homecoming court as well! Alumni were treated to a special VIP tour of the Fieldhouse and Activity Center and were honored to be among the first to write Scripture on the concrete floor of the new gym. Although it will be covered by the wood of the new court, the Scriptures will serve as a lasting foundation for years to come! High school continued the celebration on Saturday night as a record number of students attended the homecoming dance! Finally, the SCA family wrapped up the celebration on Monday as students of all ages, staff, and faculty were invited to add their favorite verse to the floor of the new gym. These current students will continue to build on the foundation God has already laid at SCA for years to come! Varsity Volleyball Highlights 2022
AthleticsWith approximately 100 girls competing in grades 5-12 at SCA, volleyball continues to be one of SCA's leading programs. The program, led by Varsity Head Coach and SCA Alumnus Kara Totzke, is calling the girls to "Step Up" as they focus on the gifts that God has given them. This focus is based on 1 Peter 4:10-11, "God has given each of you a gift from His great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another... Then everything you do will bring glory to God through Jesus Christ. All glory and power to him forever and ever! Amen.”
