(Lee’s Summit) – The Summit Christian Academy (SCA) Theatre Department will present The Music Man on the stage at SCA at 7 p.m. on November 7, 8, and 9, and 2 p.m. on November 9.
The Music Man is family entertainment at its best. Meredith Willson's six-time, Tony Award-winning musical comedy has been entertaining audiences since 1957 and is a family-friendly story to be shared with every generation. The Music Man follows fast-talking traveling salesman, Harold Hill, as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys' band that he vows to organize – this, despite the fact that he doesn't know a trombone from a treble clef and boy does that turn into TROUBLE! Don't miss this fun & entertaining event!
Tickets can be purchased online at www.cur8.com (search “Summit Christian Academy”). Tickets are encouraged to be purchased in advance for $10, or $12 at the door. All ages will enjoy this beloved musical.
