SCA second grade student Kyson Nisely received the Lower Elementary Christian Character Award for the fourth quarter.
SCA fourth grade student Noah Nobrega, pictured with his parents Jonathan and Benita Nobrega, received the Upper Elementary Christian Character Award for the fourth quarter and was named the SCA 2024 Elementary Christian Character Student of the Year.

(Lee’s Summit, MO) – Summit Christian Academy (SCA) is pleased to recognize students who consistently exhibit exceptional Christian character through the Christian Character Award program. The purpose of this award is to encourage students to pursue their potential toward attaining the highest level of personal and academic development as well as Christian character. The achievement of Christian Character at SCA is one of the most prestigious recognitions within the school.


SCA Elementary Christian Character recipients for the fourth quarter are second grade student Kyson Nisely, son of Matthew and Alexa Nisely, and fourth grade student Noah Nobrega, son of Jonathan and Benita Nobrega.


In addition, SCA announced fourth grade student Noah Nobrega as the 2024 SCA Elementary Christian Character Student of the Year.


“Noah is a dedicated servant of God,” shared SCA Assistant Elementary Principal Mrs. Shauna Borgstadt, “He continually demonstrates faithfulness to God in every aspect of his life. Noah has a desire to learn more about Jesus and to commit himself, daily, to prayer.”
