(Lee’s Summit) – Summit Christian Academy (SCA) is pleased to announce that five soloists and three ensembles received the top rating of Gold at the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) State Music Festival.
Soloists earning a rating of gold included juniors Emma Coats, Addison Davies and George Hoelzel. Seniors earning a gold rating included Hunter Harris and Hannah Wyssmann.
Three SCA ensembles received a rating of gold including JSE Boys - David Gilkeson, Adrian Haack, Hunter Harris, George Hoelzel, James Lee, Owen Stienstra, Harrison Williams and Braeden Wooldridge; JSE Junior Mixed Ensemble - Emma Coats, Addison Davies, George Hoelzel, James Lee, Abagail Stidham, Michael Ward and Avery Whitfield, and JSE Senior Mixed Ensemble - David Gilkeson, Hunter Harris, Jaidyn Hohl, Karinton Newton, Mackenzie Osborn, Owen Stienstra, Hannah Wyssmann and Xander Zumwalt.
