(Lee’s Summit) – Preschool and Prekindergarten students at Summit Christian Academy (SCA) were inspired to “Aspire Higher” in their inaugural Socktober event! The students collected 532 pairs of new socks which will be distributed to the homeless community in the Kansas City area by Free Hot Soup in Belton, MO.

“We are praying that these socks will be a blessing to those who receive them, and that they will know they are loved and cared for by our Heavenly Father,” shared SCA Early Education Director Jessica Fisher.
