Mrs. Hesman joined the faculty in 2024. She recently moved from Phoenix to Lees Summit to help plant a new church with her husband and another family. Mrs. Hesman has been leading worship for 13 years. While pursuing her seminary degree, she assisted the Dean of the College of Theology at GCU.

Mrs. Hesman has had the opportunity to write and record some music and lead worship for Sunday services as well as some worship conferences. She led the Youth Worship team at her church for a time, and has a great passion for teaching students how to lead worship well, as she began leading worship and felt a calling to it in high school at the Christian school she attended in Minnesota.
