Mr. Hanzivasilis joined the SCA faculty in 2024. He has taught in public schools since 2007 including numerous math classes from sixth grade to high school seniors. Mr. Hanzivasilis loves math and teaching students this "language" that many have trouble understanding. There is no such thing as a math mind, but the need to find someone who can help connect the dots for students. He loves that challenge and believes every student is capable of understanding and loving math.

"I feel blessed to be able to share my faith and mathematical background with students and parents at SCA. Education is my job, but for me it is truly a calling."

Mr Hanzivasilis is married to Ashley and they have two children who attend SCA. Outside of teaching, he is a Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach, loves working out with his family, swimming, and wakeboarding. The Hanzivasilis family loves the "Lake Life."
