This is my third year teaching JR/SR high. Prior to teaching in a school setting, I taught in the Army for five years and was a short and long term sub for my kid's school. I received my BA in History from Georgia College and State University, which is where I met my husband. When our third son was born, I went back to school and received my CMA certification from Auburn University and am currently completing my Masters through GCSU.

In the classroom, my focus is always to honor God with all our works. I am honored that God has placed me in a position where I can be a person who pours into and helps develop our upcoming generation. I pray that God continues to refine me as I partner with parents in being a part of making my students viable, independent, critically thinking members of society. I am blessed to be a teacher at a school that exuberates our faith, which allows me not only to partner with parents in developing our students from an educational perspective but also pour into them in their walk with Christ through a biblical lens, foundation and guidance.

My husband and I are college sweethearts and have been married for 12 years now, and together even longer. We have been blessed with four children. Our family feels that the Lord has led us to join the SCA family and His timing has been amazing throughout this process and we are very excited.

• Psalm 77:11  I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes. I will remember your wonders of old. I will ponder all your work, and meditate on your mighty deeds. Your way O God is holy.
• Isaiah 13:9  I will put this third into the fire and refine them as one refines silver and test them as gold is tested they will call upon my name and I will answer them. I will say they are my people and they will say the Lord is my God.
