E-mail Mrs. Harrelson

Linda Harrelson joined the faculty of SCA in 1999 as the Head of School. Prior to that, as a small business owner and parent of two SCA students, she served on the SCA Board of Education for seven years.

Mrs. Harrelson is most encouraged by the impact this ministry has on the students God brings. “I want others to receive the same excellent Christ-centered education that so grounded my sons. It is always encouraging to hear of the difference our dedicated teachers are making in the lives of our students.”

Mrs. Harrelson has led the school through the purchase and development of its current property and facilities. During her tenure, the school has achieved dual accreditation through ACSI and AdvancEd, added a high school program, established relationships with two universities to offer a total of 55 dual credit hours, and added a broad spectrum of student resources, including the Discovery program, speech and occupational therapy, and services for gifted students. Enrollment has grown from 225 to over 800 students.

“While the school looks completely different than when it was started, our core values and mission to students remain the same. We are dedicated to partnering with Christian families to inspire students to achieve their God-given potential. To Him be the glory.”

Mrs. Harrelson and her husband Chuck have two married sons and five grandchildren.
